Is SpeakerPost a speaker bureau or talent agency?
No. SpeakerPost is a direct-discovery platform, not a bureau or talent agency. We do not represent speakers, manage bookings, or take any commission fees. All arrangements — whether paid keynotes, honorariums, or volunteer guest lectures — are negotiated directly between the speaker and the organizer.
Was SpeakerPost created only for large in-person conferences?
Not at all. SpeakerPost was founded on classroom and online guest-speaking opportunities — building a bridge between educators and industry professionals to enrich student learning through volunteer knowledge sharing. While our community is immensely proud of those educational roots, the platform organically expanded as our speakers were discovered for major conference keynotes, international panels, media commentary, and curriculum development boards.
Is SpeakerPost available internationally?
Yes. SpeakerPost serves a worldwide community across both virtual and physical stages. Because the platform operates in English, it is ideal for English-language conferences, global virtual summits, international universities, and cross-border podcasts.

SpeakerPost offers two distinct profile paths depending on a user's goals: Free Profiles: Designed for everyone in the ecosystem. Event planners and educators use free profiles to post needs and find experts. Industry professionals, emerging speakers, and educators use them to share knowledge, give back to students, or build early speaking credibility. SpeakerPost Pro: A premium membership designed specifically for active and professional speakers who want enhanced branding tools, higher visibility, and advanced media customization to present their credentials at the highest level.
What features are included in SpeakerPost PRO?
SpeakerPost PRO is purely a profile optimization and discovery engine. It gives professional speakers complete, self-managed control over how they present their work to decision-makers. Key features include multi-video showcases, client trust badges, featured testimonials, custom media links, and enhanced search engine optimization (SEO) tools designed to make profiles easily discoverable across major search engines.
HOW IT WORKS
Does SpeakerPost send opportunities directly to speakers?
No. SpeakerPost is a self-service discovery index. Having a profile makes experts discoverable to organizers searching the directory. In addition, SpeakerPost features an open Opportunity Board where organizers post active speaker calls. Any registered user — whether using a free or Pro profile — can browse and respond directly to these postings.
Do event planners or educators have to pay to search or hire speakers?
No. Event organizers, podcast hosts, journalists, and educators can search the directory, review profiles, contact speakers, and post speaking opportunities completely free of charge.
